Kritzerland to release Wilder combo

Kritzerland Records has announced a new limited edition CD featuring two scores from films by Billy Wilder starring Jack Lemmon: The Apartment, scored by Adolph Deutsch, and The Fortune Cookie, with music by a young André Previn. Both scores were previously released on CD as part of Film Score Monthly’s out-of-print box set “The MGM Soundtrack Treasury”. Worth noting is that the original LP release of The Apartment was nominated for a Grammy for ‘Best Soundtrack Album or Recording of Music Score from Motion Picture or Television’. The Kritzerland CD, limited to 1000 copies, features both original LP programmes newly remastered.
