Rolfe Kent will take a break from scoring comedies to write the music for an action thriller entitled Killers, directed by Robert Luketic. Kent is best known for his comedy scores, all of his films so far this year – Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, 17 Again, The Men Who Stare at Goats and Up in the Air – are all comedies. However, Killers, also known as Five Killers, tells the story about a newlywed couple who discover that their neighnors could be assassins who have been contracted to kill them. The film stars Katherine Heigl, Catherine O’Hara, Aston Kutcher and Tom Selleck. Rolfe Kent scored the first feature film of director Robert Luketic, Legally Blonde, in 2001.
