The remake of George A. Romero’s 1973 cult movie The Crazies gets an original score penned by Mark Isham. The new film, which will premiere on February 28, is directed by Breck Eisner (Sahara) and stars Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell and Danielle Panabaker. The film’s story, which is based on Romero’s 1973 script, takes place in a small Iowa town where a mysterious toxin contaminates the water supply.
Mark Isham’s other upcoming film scores include The Factory, a thriller starring John Cusack, Sonya Walger and Jennifer Carpenter.
The original 1973 version featured a score by Bruce Roberts, a composer whose subsequent career has been focused on songwriting resulting in two Golden Globe nominations.

I will be lookin’ forward to this! Isham’s more textural scores are quite interesting.
Yes, I liked his scores for The Mist and Running Scared.
