Divya Sanjay Agarwal also known as Divya Agarwal is a well-known Indian actress, model, and brand ambassador. She was born on the 4th of December, 1992 in Navi Mumbai, India to parents Janak Mehta and Krishna Mehta and grew up along with three brothers, Sandeep Mehta, Pravesh Mehta, and Salil Mehta. Ms. Agarwal had attended St. Xavier’s High school and then joined Sanpada College of Commerce and Technology to pursue her career in journalism.
From her childhood, she was ambitious and had won the title Miss Navi Mumbai 2015. During her graduation, she took dance lessons in Terrence Lewis Dance Academy, and after learning dance for a year, she formed her own dance academy called Elevate dance Institute. She, later on, started choreographing for ads and TV commercials for famous actresses like Ileana D’cruz and Shilpa Shetty. Furthermore, she had choreographed almost 3000 dancers for IPL 2010 and since then has acted in a number of TV commercials.
Indian Princess 2016
Divya was 24 when she had conquered the title of Indian Princess 2016 which was held in Le Meridian in Dubai. She battled out other 26 contestants and claimed the title of Indian Princess. She was crowned by the then current queen, Snehapriya Roy.She had also won Miss Tourism International India 2016.
Splitsvilla 10
Divya had quite a roller coaster journey in Splitsvilla X. The game got more interesting when Divya made a wildcard entry in the villa after she was eliminated from the show. Divya with her then-beau, Priyank Sharma were the winner of that season and managed to make headlines with their on and off relationship status. The bond between them grew after they had participated together in Splitsvilla and soon from friends they had turned lovers.Priyank is a dancer and model by profession and was also the contestant of Bigg Boss 11. In one of the episodes, Divya had made an appearance and called it quits with him on the national television after seeing the brewing closeness between Priyank and Benafsha on the show.
Ace of Space
After winning MTV’s Ace of Space, Divyahad wonRs 7 lakh plus the winner’s trophy. Also, the top 3participants fighting for the winning trophy were VarunSood, Divya Agarwal, & Pratik Sehajpal. Besides the award and recognition, she also found her special someone on the show. Before arriving at the show, Varun and Divya were close friends, but in the show Varun had proposed Divya and the proposal was accepted by her.
In one of her interviews with India Today Online, she spoke about her win, her journey, boyfriend & also ex-boyfriend Priyank Sharma. One of the questions asked to her was “VarunSood proposed you on the show. Do you see a future with him?” to which she replied “Of course I see a future with Varun. I don’t get into things if they are not permanent at all. If I am on something, it’s on forever. It’s never temporary for me. The support which I was seeking, I am super lucky to have it. I think every girl seeks for that support system. I was lucky earlier as well, as he has been my best friend and now he is my boyfriend, I am luckier.”
Divya meaning in English is Divine or extraordinary, and no doubt her entire journey has been extraordinary, from winning Miss Navi Mumbai to winning Ace of Space.
Divya has recently done a song “Bob Marley” by SuyashRai along with Benafsha. Priyank Sharma got trolled for conveniently ignoring his ex-lover Divya and praising Suyash and Benafsha.
